Michael Sebastian Romero was born in Bellflower, California, and grew up in the Cerritos/Long Beach area. At a young age, he showed a strong interest in music and technology. While attending Cottonwood Church, Michael started getting involved with the various media departments within the church. Michael took on many roles from Camera Op., FOH, Show Producer, and Broadcast Director. He soon found himself leading the media department for the youth church.

While achieving a degree in Audio Production, he landed a job working with Dr. Dre and Record Plant. His career at Record Plant would bring him to engineer for several top artists such as Michael Bolton, T-Pain, Parkwood, Ashanti, and Trey Songs. In 2019 he was Grammy-nominated for record of the year for his work on “Talk” by Khalid.

Right after his work with Khalid, he was picked up by Canadian artist Tory Lanez. Michael & Tory’s business relationship started when Tory hired Michael as an Engineer. They completed two albums, “Chixtape 5” and “New Toronto 3,” and shortly after, the gig turned into a dynamic relationship. Leading Michael to Executive producing four more albums for Tory Lanez: “DAYSTAR,” “Loner,” “PLAYBOY,” and “We Outside,” along with one live album, “PLAYBOY LIVE.”
